The Skins and Sean T

As the skins mini camp starts up this weekend, im getting excited. Get to see Orakpo, among other rookies. Two JMU players were invited to the minicamp as well, hopefully they impress the coaches. But as always, I will again be thinking of Area 51, aka Laron Landry and Sean Taylor. The safety tandem that could have been the best and most feared ever. When Sean died, that was a tough few weeks for me. I shed some tears for a good week or 2 straight. Pretty much watched every video of him with my brother or while Champ was sleeping on my lap. He was my favorite player, a hard hitter who never took a play off. He played his heart out, and everyone, whether a skins fan or not, could not question that. He was easily becoming a top 2 safety in the league, next to fellow U alum Ed Reed. I can never watch a game, or think of the Redskins and not think of Sean at some point during it. Dont get me wrong, I love Chris Horton. Hes a player fo real, and i've talked to him a few times and hope to be able to bring him up to the EC this summer to play some golf. But I really thought he was on this way to being a hall of famer. Every golf tournament i play in, I always mark my golf ball with a S.T 21, in blue or black sharpie. I try and play and practice as hard as he did, and leave it all on the course. And when i win a big tournament some day, its gunna be for my family and for him.
